Founded in 2015, Purple is an American comfort technology brand based in Utah. The company specializes in the direct-to-consumer sales of no-pressure, premium quality mattresses and accessories including seat cushions, back cushions, pillows and platform bases. The founders, Tony and Terry Pearce, have had extensive experience in patents involving cushioning materials, fluids and hyper-elastic polymers. One such machine was created to fuse large chunks of elastic polymers into mattresses in 2013. Thanks to the patented, scientifically-derived technology called GelFlex Grid and customizable firmness levels, Purple is suitable for all types of sleepers. There is also a fairly large selection of sizes available, making sure that close to all customers will be able to find a bed for themselves.
