If you’re wondering, “where is the Lull mattress made?”, you’ll be happy to note that Lull mattresses are manufactured right here in the USA.
The 10” memory foam mattress is made up of 3 layers:
Top layer: The top layer, also known as the comfort layer is made of gel-infused memory foam and is 1.5” thick. This layer contributes to the temperature maintenance of the mattress by giving its surface a cool feel.
Support layer: The support layer is made of conventional foam and is 1.5” thick. The support layer acts as a transitional layer and helps in the proper weight distribution and alignment of the sleeper.
Bottom layer: The foundation layer of the mattress is 7” thick and is made of high-density support foam. It gives the mattress an overall sturdy feel and adds to its durability.
The image below illustrates the top comfort layer, therapeutic mid-layer, and the core support base.
The 13″ hybrid mattress uses a memory foam and innerspring coil system. It is made up of 6 layers which include:
Breathable Sleep Surface: The combination of open-cell memory foam, Lull’s cooling gel technology, and individually wrapped coils, contribute to the comfortable cool and breathable surface layer.
Cooling Comfort Layer: LullCertiPUR-US-certified foam contributes to provide expert pressure relief and comfort.
Precision-Crafted Pocket Coils: Hundreds of individual coils evenly distribute weight on the mattress. Each individual coil prevents motion transfer and contributes to optimal contouring support.
The Lull mattress cover is made of ultra-premium fabrics, combining polyester and rayon to give the sleeper a comfortable and cool sleeping experience. It also makes the mattress adequately stretchable and flexible. The cover is handcrafted and is really soft, breathable, and durable.
Firmness, Feel & Support
Since the Lull mattress was designed to meet the needs and preferences of most sleepers, its firmness level falls somewhere between medium and slightly firm. When we talk about the overall feel and support of the mattress, it performs brilliantly for most sleepers. Regardless of whether you sleep on your stomach, back, or side, you should receive an adequate amount of support from the mattress.
The mattress was designed such that it doesn’t create pressure points and pushes the sleeper’s body back just the right amount. The motion transfer of the mattress isn’t very noticeable, and the top two layers play an important role in preventing motion disturbance from transferring from one side to the other, so you don’t feel your partner moving around when you sleep.
The mattress doesn’t exhibit more than 5” of sinkage for a person who weighs 150 pounds or less. The level of sinkage will differ depending on the weight of the sleeper, but the mattress can hold up to 500 pounds comfortably and with support.
