Overview
Live and Sleep is a US-based online memory foam mattress manufacturer and retailer. The brand offers three types of eco-friendly mattresses suitable for all types of sleepers. All beds have been designed to make high-quality mattresses affordable to the masses, including the luxury choices.
Construction
All three mattresses share the same construction design in terms of layers and materials. The differences are mainly in the thickness of the memory foam and the cooling, gel-infused memory foam, as well as the core support layer height.
Classic
Classic is 10” tall and features a 2.5” premium memory foam. This is the only mattress on the brand’s list that doesn’t have a cooling gel-infused memory foam layer. The 7.5” high-density support core offers a good amount of support, even for heavy-weight sleepers. Classic also offers a pretty standard hand-knit cover that is breathable and soft, to an extent. On a scale of 1 to 10, the firmness level of this mattress is 6.
Elite
Elite is 10” tall and features a 2.5” premium memory foam comfort later that provides body contouring and pressure point relief. With a firmness level of 7, Elite is a good choice for sleepers that have back, shoulder and hip aches. The ½” gel-infused memory foam further enhances pressure point relief and offers reasonable temperature control. The cover features a woven knit design.
Luxury
The high-end mattress of Live and Sleep, Luxury is 12” tall. It features a 2.5″ contour open-cell memory foam layer for enhanced body contouring, a 1” cooling gel-infused memory foam, and an 8.5” core support. The firmness level of the Luxury mattress is 5 as it offers the plushest comfort out of all three. The cover features a luxurious woven knit design.
All mattresses are CertiPUR-US certified and feature high-quality materials and eco-friendly construction processes.
Here are the detailed dimensions for each size:
- Twin: 39″ × 75″
- Full: 54″ × 75″
- Queen: 60″ × 80″
- King/CAL King: 76″ × 80″
Mattress Cover
The cover is different for each mattress type. The quality, softness, and feel are improved in parallel to the prices of Classic, Elite, and Luxury, respectively. The cover is responsible for temperature control, is highly breathable, and further enhances body contouring features of the underlying memory foam layers. It’s very resilient and light and tends to assume its original shape very quickly as you roll over in your sleep. The covers aren’t removable and should be spot cleaned.
Firmness, Feel & Support
The comfort of Live and Sleep mattresses is increased with the mattress tier. On a scale of 1 to 10, the firmness levels vary from 5-7 depending on the type with Luxury being the plushest and Elite being the firmest. Motion transfer is fairly low, which allows partners to sleep peacefully even if the other one twists and turns a lot. The sinkage level is around 4 inches for every 50 lbs.
The support is distributed evenly throughout the whole sleeping area, including the edges. This eliminates the feeling of dropping off the mattress during sleep. The mattresses are primarily recommended to stomach and back sleepers. Side sleepers may experience some amount of pressure during sleep because you concentrate more weight over a small area while sleeping on the side.
Purchase & Delivery Process
Both purchases and deliveries are straightforward. You can buy the mattresses directly from the brand’s official website. The clean interface displays everything, including the price, mattress type, and size. Here are the dimensions for each size:
Once set, you can check out with a credit card, PayPal, or Shopify Secure. There is also a 0% financing available through Klarna.
The free delivery takes around 4-7 business days for Classic, and 2 business days for Elite and Luxury mattresses. The trial periods are 30, 75, and 100 days for Classic, Elite, and Luxury, respectively. All returns and refunds are 100% risk-free during the trial period.

Final Word
Overall, The Elite Live and Sleep mattress is a good deal for the price, especially if you prefer firm mattresses. The price difference between Classic and Elite isn’t too high, but you get a lot more comfort, temperature control, and plushness. Luxury is best if you’re looking for a medium-balanced firmness and prefer the plush comfort above all else. All beds offer good motion isolation, edge support and sinkage. While the perks offered by the brand aren’t comparable with many other mattress manufacturers on the market, the low price is more than enough to make up for it.
