The Eva mattress has five layers, excluding the mattress cover. It’s a hybrid mattress constructed from gel memory foam, latex, and pocket springs. Here’s a breakdown of its construction from top-to-bottom:

1. Gel Memory Foam. This layer has memory foam infused with cooling gel beads that adapt to your body temperature and dissipate heat. Traditional memory foam is guilty of trapping body heat, so Eva’s gel-infusion solves this problem.
   The foam top also cradles your body and offers the ‘hug-like’ feel that memory foam mattresses have in common.
2. Premium Latex Foam. Eva uses high-quality latex with antimicrobial properties. latex also breathes better than foam, thanks to its open-cell structure, improving your mattress’ temperature regulation.
3. Density Foam. This super dense foam layer gives the mattress a strong foundation and forms a transition between the sturdy steel pocket springs and softer foam layers.
4. Zone Pocket Springs. The Eva mattress comes with pocket springs sorted into five zones, giving you point-pressure relief, improving your mattress’ air circulation, and minimising motion transfer.

The mattress’ side pockets also come with pocket springs that improve its edge support, saving you from falling out of bed or sinking into the edge.

Eva is B Corp certified, meaning the brand adheres to the highest social and environmental impact standards. The Eva mattress is Eco-INSTITUT and CertiPUR-US certified, testifying that it’s free of harmful toxins and is recognized for low-emissions.

The Eva mattress’ cover is not removable, and it’s made of 100% polyester. The cover is soft and breathable.

As with all bed-in-a-box mattresses, you can purchase the Eva mattress online from the brand’s website. Eva offers free next day delivery to metro areas (such as Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth).

You’ll need to place your order on a business day before 4pm to have your mattress delivered on the next business day. Eva also lets you choose a preferred later delivery date at checkout.

If you live in a non-metro area, Eva will dispatch your order within 24 hours and it will take an additional 1-8 business days to arrive. The company doesn’t deliver to the Northern Territory.

Eva uses GPS tracking to update customers in Metro areas about their order status, via SMS.
