The Endy mattress is 10-inches thick with three foam layers, starting with a super soft top layer and finishing off with a dense polyfoam foundation. Here’s a breakdown of the bed’s construction:

Top layer

The Endy’s top layer comprises 2-inches of open-cell gel soft foam, which breathes well and helps keep you cool overnight. All-foam mattresses usually trap heat, making them uncomfortable for hot sleepers, but Endy’s done a good job at making their beds relatively cool.
That being said, it’s still a foam bed, so it won’t sleep as cool as say, a hybrid or spring mattress. The top layer is also quite responsive, which is great news for combo sleepers – the mattress adjusts quickly to position changes, keeping you relaxed in any position.

Transition layer

The transition layer is 3 inches thick and comprised of polyfoam – it’s more firm than the top layer and gives the mattress some bounce. This layer is a welcome addition because, otherwise, you’d sink right through the soft top layer to the dense core.

Support core

The Endy mattress’s bottom layer is made of 5-inches of high-density polyfoam, creating a solid, durable foundation.

Mattress cover

Each Endy mattress comes with a removable knit cover that’s around 97% polyester and 3% spandex. The cover breathes well, and it’s machine-washable, making it easy to maintain.
