On the firmness scale, I’m going to give this mattress a 6/10 and that’s actually right about where I feel like is right for me – not too firm but also not too soft, giving me support while still feeling nice on my skin. For most people, this is also usually the most comfortable type of firmness.

Cooling Properties
This mattress has really great cooling properties, even in the pillow. When I hold it I could instantly feel the built in cooling properties that are built in, especially as a hot sleeper. The Puffy Royal mattress has a ‘cooling bed infused top layer’ for an even cooler sleep experience that’s infused with cooling beads that disseminate heat, scoring a 2-10 on the coolness level with 1 being the coldest.

Pressure Relief
Pressure relief is among the most important things for me when choosing a mattress because I really need to be able to have my aches and pains be improved when I sleep, not get worse! And I really felt like it helped me, especially in my back so I’ll give the Puffy mattress a 9/10 on pressure relief. The Puffy Lux and Puffy Royal mattresses both have exclusive layers built into the mattress that help further enhance pressure relief.

The mattress is fairly responsive, which is particularly great for couples who share the bed. And the firmness of the mattress also ensures that you won’t feel like you’re sinking in either.

Motion Isolation
I performed the classic glass of water test on the Puffy mattress to check out the motion isolation of it and I was seriously impressed – especially since I performed the test with a rather tall glass of water. I placed the glass on one side of the bed and went to sit on the other, and there was no movement at all even when I tried sitting even further. 10/10 for motion transfer on this mattress.

I sat pretty much on the edge of the mattress to see if I felt like I might fall off, and I didn’t feel like I was about to in the least bit. The mattress really supported my entire body, so I’ll give it somewhere between 8.5-9.5 on edge support. This is likely due to the adaptive support of the mattress and comfort layers.
Mattress Materials
Puffy utilizes a patented multi-layer design formulated and imbued with DeepSleep technology. While the price difference between Puffy and Puffy Lux is fairly large, the differences in construction and materials aren’t too significant. The Puffy has three layers and the Puffy Lux has four layers, including a Cloud Foam layer for extra comfort, adaptive support, and body contouring.
The Puffy Royal mattress, however, does depart from Puffy’s other two mattresses, offering a significantly enhanced sleep experience. It features five layers, four of which are exclusive to the Royal and are detailed below. It’s worth mentioning that all Puffy mattresses are CertiPUR-US certified and no harmful chemicals are used during any stage of the manufacturing process.

I purchased it for my wife. As she's confined to bed the mattress on the hospital bed has been causing pressure sores left and right. And in three night on the puffy mattress it is now healing well. And my wife says it is very comfortable. So I went and ordered one fr myself. Unfortunately I have to be in a separate bed

Love this mattress! My Sterns and Foster was way too soft and hot! The Puffy is firm but cradles the body and cooler!! Highly recommend this mattress!!

What would I use for under the mattress? Do I use box springs? Do you deliver to my home?
I do not see a price for Queen puffy plus. Also, under your warranty, do you refund the full amount of the purchase?
