It’s actually a decently firm mattress, however my husband and I kind of like a little bit more of a medium offer (less firm than this one). But if you like a firm feeling, this could be a great option for you and your partner.

As someone with a lot of back pain, I really appreciate when a mattress helps instead of making it worse. I felt like the Lull mattress really helped with these pressure points so I would give this an 8/10 on pressure relief.

The Lull mattress was really good at forming to my shape, it kind of made a nice place for my exact body type, so I would give it an 8/10 on responsiveness. Memory foam mattresses tend to be great in terms of responsiveness.

Motion transfer is also really important in a mattress, especially when sharing the bed with a partner. I performed the glass of water test, placing it on one side of the bed and sitting on the other side of the bed to see what would happen and if the water would move when I move. And there was no movement! I even changed places on the mattress to double check. I’ll give the Lull mattress an 8/10 on motion isolation.

Edge Support
Edge support should also be taken into consideration when choosing a mattress – and for couples it’s even more important since they should be comfortable that they won’t fall off even when sharing the bed. I felt supported by the mattress and not as though I was going to fall off, so I’d give it an 8/10 on edge support.

The top layer is a quilted memory foam cover, with 2” of cooling-gel bead infused memory foam underneath to promote air circulation. I believe this is a great mattress for the price and really at any price, it’s very high quality and seems as though the mattress would be durable for the 10-15 years that it’s supposed to be. I personally prefer a mattress that’s more thick however, as well as a mattress that’s a little less firm. It doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be a good option for you though, we all have different preferences, especially when it comes to our sleep styles.
