Titan Plus Elite Mattress Review
For years, my husband and I struggled to find a mattress that actually worked for both of us. As a mid size woman married to a plus size man, our old mattresses would always develop a “dip” on his side within months, leading to him tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable.
To make matters worse, he runs incredibly hot, and the heat radiating from his side of the bed used to really bother me and keep me awake.
I am a light sleeper, so between him being a human heater and his constant movement, I was waking up every time he shifted. We finally decided to look for something specifically engineered for weight, durability, and temperature control, which led us to the Titan Luxe Elite by Brooklyn Bedding.
After three months of sleeping on it, here is how it changed our nights.
My Verdict
The Titan Luxe Elite is a total game-changer for plus-size couples, offering the heavy-duty structural integrity needed for longevity without the "rock-hard" feel of traditional firm beds.
- Support: Specifically engineered to support heavier weights, it provides a stable foundation that prevents sagging and ensures you never feel like you're sleeping on the floor.
- Motion Isolation: The advanced construction completely eliminated our "midnight wrestling matches," allowing me to sleep through my husband's movements thanks to incredible motion dampening.
- Luxury Contouring: It strikes the perfect balance between high-capacity durability and premium comfort, providing deep pressure relief while keeping your spine aligned.

The Titan Plus Luxe is our top pick for plus-size sleepers because it upgrades the heavy-duty support of the Core model with premium comfort layers specifically designed for side sleeping.
- Smart Savings: We opted for the King size, which typically retails for $1,732, but using the current MEMORIAL30 code during the 30% off sale dropped our price to just $1,212.
- Specialized Engineering: Unlike standard retail beds that sag quickly, this mattress is purpose-built to maintain its shape and outlast traditional hybrids under higher weight capacities.
- Risk-Free Testing: Every purchase comes with a 120-night sleep trial, giving us four full months to ensure the durability and feel are a perfect match.

In-Depth Review
When the Titan arrived, the box was incredibly heavy, which was our first clue about the quality of the materials inside. I definitely recommend having two people to move it and set it up on the frame. It expanded quickly, and we were able to sleep on it the very first night.
The difference in my husband’s sleep was almost immediate. Because the mattress doesn’t collapse under his weight. For the first time in our marriage, we aren’t fighting over the sweet spot in the middle of the bed because the support is consistent from edge to edge.
Firmness Level
We rate the Titan Luxe Elite at a 6/10 on the firmness scale. It features a layer of TitanFlex foam that provides immediate pressure relief, but the heavy-duty coils underneath ensure you never feel like you sinking in your mattress. For my husband, it provides the deep support his frame needs, while for me, it feels like a cozy, medium-firm cloud that doesn’t put pressure on my hips or shoulders.

Cooling Properties
Being a hybrid, the airflow through the internal coils is fantastic. We opted for the GlacioTex Cooling Cover, and it was the best decision we made. My husband used to sleep very hot, but this fabric remains cool to the touch throughout the night. It is a game changer for anyone who deals with night sweats or just prefers a crisp, cool sleeping surface.

Pressure Relief
The standout feature for us has been how the foam layers contour to the body without that stuck feeling. It provides a noticeable level of relief for common tension areas like the lower back and shoulders, which is often a struggle with beds built for higher weight capacities.

Motion Isolation
This was the most important factor for me. In the past, if my husband moved, the whole bed moved with him. With the Titan Luxe, the individually wrapped coils and thick foam layers absorb almost all movement. I can stay completely asleep on my side even if he gets up in the middle of the night or shifts positions, which has drastically improved my daily energy levels.

Edge Support
The edge support on this mattress is surprisingly robust, which is a huge plus when you are sharing a bed. I can sleep right up to the very edge without feeling like I’m going to slide off, and it provides a sturdy base when I’m sitting on the side of the bed to put on my shoes. This reinforced perimeter really maximizes the usable sleep surface, making the King size feel even more spacious.
Construction
The Titan Luxe Elite features a sophisticated five layer construction, starting with an 8″ core of TitanCore individually encased coils for deep industrial support. Above the coils, a combination of Supreme Response Transition Foam and 2″ of TitanFlex Comfort Foam provides the necessary contouring for a medium feel. The mattress is topped with a 1″ quilted gel foam layer and an optional GlacioTex cooling cover to ensure maximum airflow and temperature regulation throughout the night.

Delivery Process
The Titan Luxe Elite makes the delivery process seamless with its bed-in-a-box model, shipping directly to your door for free. Setup is simple and surprisingly quick, though the high-quality materials make the box quite heavy, so I definitely recommend having a partner help you move it. Once unboxed, the mattress decompresses almost immediately, allowing you to settle in with the peace of mind provided by their 120-night trial and limited lifetime warranty.
Customer Service
If you have any questions or need assistance with your order, Titan offers dedicated support to help you through the process. Their team is available for quick phone support from 11 am to 8 pm ET on weekdays, and they even offer weekend hours from 11:30 am to 8 pm ET on Saturday and Sunday. It is reassuring to know you can reach a real person almost any day of the week if you need help with your 120 night trial or delivery.
